MP3: The War On Drugs “Come To The City”

In preparation for their new album, Slave Ambient, The War On Drugs have just released a new, second single. They are calling "Come to the City" the centerpiece of the album, "where Adam Granduciel takes things to the next level."
The track itself is one for your playlist - really good. It has the power of a Bruce Springsteen ballad, with a constantly streaming guitar and bass drum. It's the vocals that tie the track together, though, with Adam singing, "I've been moving; I've been drifting," in a crystal clear voice poking through the layers of distorted guitar.
