Last time we checked in with Britpop pioneers Suede, Brett Anderson was giving us his Top 10 of 2011 and the group had just been featured in FILTER 43. Now the group is back and starting off 2013 right with a free download of a new track off of their sixth studio album Bloodsports.
While the album is scheduled to be due out in March, Suede fans can get a taste of the unreleased material by taking advantage of today's free download of "Barriers." The band has made it clear that this track is not the first official single off of their latest album, but that doesn't stop us from loving it just as much!
"Barriers" is a great first dive back into the addictive and driving sound that Suede has been absent since 2002's A New Morning. Anderson's iconic voice perfectly walks the line between fun and epic on this building anthem featuring their signature disco-esque beat.
Even though we have to wait until February for the release of another track ("It Starts and Ends With You"), make sure you're back in that '90s UK state of mind and download "Barriers" HERE.
