Happy Birthday, Milo!
When you have a cover story on one of the most legendary punk groups around, it's not enough just to pat yourself on the back and say job well done. You have to celebrate it with free music and blown-out speakers (and hopefully not ear drums)!
To fully appreciate our 50th issue, our 10th year in print AND Milo Aukerman's 50th birthday on January 1st (see how that all coincided in one nice little package?), we at FILTER have compiled an entire album of Descendents covers from some of our favorite bands today.
The album, aptly titled FILTER Presents: Milo Turns 50: Songs of the Descendents, features FIDLAR, Mike Watt, Band of Horses’ Ben Bridwell, YACHT, Tijuana Panthers and more performing classic tracks from the iconic band's catalogue.
