Mos Def, Supermagic

2009 has been a great one for NY emcee and occasional actor, Mos Def.  He released his latest studio gem, The Ecstatic, which earned two Grammy nods last week (Best Rap Album and Best Rap Solo Performance) and of course, graced the cover of our very own Summer issue.

With December almost in the books, he's closing out '09 with a bang with the release of his latest video for new single, "Supermagic".  Directed by Nabil and Weirdcore, the clip initially keeps it simple with a one-shot performance, until the magic kicks in courtesy of blurry visuals and dual graphics.  Abracadabra most definitely.
