LISTEN: Wild Nothing Announce New LP, Reveal First Single Off “Nocturne”
By Staff; thumbnail by Shawn Brackbill on June 13, 2012
Wild Nothing has only released one album thus far—but what an album that was, and still is. If you haven’t listened to Gemini recently, go back and refresh your memory to the simple but strong layerings of percussion over guitar (over guitar), all wrapped up tight in Jack Tatum’s calming vocals.
And it sounds as if Nocturne, set for an August 28th release date, doesn’t stray too far from Wild Nothing’s solidified sound. Check it out on the promising album single, “Shadow,” playing below. The album comes out via Captured Tracks.
