Alan Day—the Worcester, MA-bred musician affiliated with popular pop-punk outfit, Four Year Strong—released a few tracks this past December under indie rock alias, The Here And Now.
Take this moment to heed Day's moniker—yes, right here, right now—by listening to the eclectic and tasteful rock anthem, "Keep Me In Your Heart," off Born To Make Believe - Part I.
This song makes an unbelievable use of its four minutes, full of grungey guitar, melodic keys, and Day's unpredictable vocals that switch from tuneful to acidic as the track progresses, causing a sincere despair to emerge each time the chorus is uttered.
Don't even be surprised when you find yourself nodding along to the line, I'm going straight to hell. Who's coming with me? As long as Day's leading the way, we'll take a trip just about anywhere.
