LISTEN: Joywave Debuts Koda Vista EP Album Stream (FILTER Exclusive)

The upcoming release of Joywave's Koda Vista EP provides 80’s inspired synth-pop, bright vocals, and scenic lyrical portraits. It also, however, paints a portrait of the indirect inspiration the band members received from the Eastman Kodak Company. An unlikely indie/rock muse, Kodak played roles in the lives of Joywave’s members as a significant icon in their hometown of Rochester, NY providing the city with themes reflected in the EP’s such as overcoming struggles, creating a home, peace and security.
