LISTEN: Beach Fossils Capture Their Live Sound In New Single: “Generational Synthetic”

Brooklyn's lo-fi quartet Beach Fossils have already announced their return with details about their upcoming sophomore LP release, Clash The Truth, at the end of 2012. To start the new year off right, Dustin Payseur's musical project has just released "Generational Synthetic"--the second single from the album.

Starting off immediately with a steady beat accompanied by driving bass and a simple guitar line, "Generational Synthetic" bears an eery resemblance to The Replacements' 1985 "love" song "Kiss Me On The Bus." Once Payseur's echo-y vocals enter the track, the listener is treated to Beach Fossils' unique (and a tad bit darker) take on modern day surf rock.

Check out the entire track below and don't forget to pick Clash The Truth up on February 19, 2013 via Captured Tracks!
