Dr. Dog, Shadow People

Psychadelic-rock band Dr. Dog has come a long way from their modest Philadelphia roots. From their creative collaborations beginning ten years ago to having opened for bands such as Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, The Strokes, and The Black Keys, Dr. Dog is now set to drop their sixth studio album, and first record with Anti-Records, entitled Shame, Shame. Currently on their North American tour, the band has also just been added to the Bonnaroo 2010 lineup and is sure to have a good year.
Shame, Shame will be released April 6, 2010 and has been described by the band as a more modern and punk-rock effort to reflect their live show performances. Check out a preview of their upcoming album with their first single called "Shadow People" (via Stereogum) which lead guitarist Scott McMicken expressed is a "full-on West Philly diary."
