Broken Bells, The High Road

Since the launch of their mysterious viral campaign last week, anticipation for the next clue from Broken Bells (aka super producer Danger Mouse and The Shins' frontman James Mercer) has been palpable.  Turns out we didn't have to wait for very long because today, the duo have released their first single, "The High Road".

Sharing instrumental credits, the track blends Mercer's smooth vocals with Danger Mouse's slightly 8-bit keyboard loops.  While, their first clue alluded that "the high road was hard to find", this one was actually quite easy - you just need an email address.

Broken Bells' self-titled debut hits stores March 9th courtesy of Columbia Records.
