LISTEN: Depeche Mode Reach Transcendence In “Heaven” Through Stern Synthpop

Bob Mould (Husker Du, Sugar) has been making music for over 30 years and, unlike most who try, he's been able to stay not only relevant, but appreciated throughout these decades. While we aren't career experts or counselors, we'd have to say that Mould has been pretty successful at his! WATCH: Get In The Tub With Black Moth Super Rainbow’s “Hairspray Heart”

Black Moth Super Rainbow feels like music we intercepted from an alternate dimension. It’s warm and simultaneously cold; it’s futuristic but also feels very retro, songs rooted in human nature but ultimately seeming completely alien. The band’s new video for “Hairspray Heart,” off last years critically acclaimed Cobra Juicy, shows us a glimpse of a place that feels like the dimension in which Black Moth Super Rainbow’s sound has emerged from. It’s fascinating and we definitely want to know more about these strange visitors...
