Great news out of Chicago today. Will it be the best news of the day? Potentially! The always amazing Angel Olsen has announced her first album since signing to Jagjaguwar in the spring. The record, Burn Your Fire For No Witness, is due for release on February 18th, 2014 and judging by the first cut, “Forgiven/Forgotten,” we’re in for a treat.

There's nothing quite as invigorating and exciting as seeing one of your favorite bands live, and listening to a killer song in its rawest form played by the artists themselves. Moshcam--creators of the world’s largest online catalog of originally-produced live music videos--has an awesome collection of full concert performances by some of our favorite artists. We really could spend an entire day watching these!
We came across this fantastic performance from surf-pop favorites, Best Coast, and couldn't wait to share the Moshcam wealth because the concert is shot professionally--no more camera phone live videos! It's time to boycott blurry and terrible sounding clips! We might be getting off track...
Taken from an awesome set from an Australian show, the SoCal duo's performance is pretty much flawless right up to the very end with their always catchy, "Boyfriend" capping the night off. So go watch "When The Sun Don't Shine" above and then head to Moshcam to check out the rest of their set!

Earlier this fall Chapel Hill, North Carolina's legendary indie-noise band Polvo, released their first new LP, Siberia, in four years. Today, after having a couple of months to fully digest the album, we're thrilled to premiere the official video for "Light, Raking" that you can check out above.

Nothing helps you get through a day like a loud and colorful burst of energy; London synth-pop band, Crystal Fighters, is here to help you over that hump. The video for their newest song "LA Calling," turns Crystal Fighters' uplifting tune into some seriously animated fun. You can thank us after watching!

A little while back, we had the pleasure of getting to know Fran Healy of Travis a little bit better when he came to jam and chat in the Ernie Ball showroom. Thanks to our ongoing video series with the legendary string company, aptly titled "Set Me Up" Sessions--where we bring some awesome artists to chat about their favorite stringed instruments and play a little something for us--we spoke with Healy about songwriting, shredding and why Back To The Future is so important to his musical history.

Scott Toepfer, one of our favorite photographers, had the amazing opportunity to follow a band around the great (in all senses of the word) state of Alaska. Toepfer chronicled his journey with the Portland-based band Quiet Life through still shots and a video which you can watch above. Read below about Toepfer's gorgeous journey and the amazing hospitality that the band received along their way.
