ABOUT THE PHOTO
This photo was taken by our very good friend Josh Anderson, who is in a band called Fisher Phillips. It features his amazing huskies! We like to take walks with them in the LA canyons, they protect us from coyotes. We also like to imagine they are dire wolves from Game of Thrones—we love that show!
IDEAL SITUATION FOR SOMEONE TO LISTEN OUR MUSIC
Loud, while driving fast on the open road in the desert—preferably someplace mystical, like New Mexico.
OUR DREAM COLLABORATION
Rolf from The Muppets.
BEST SHOW EVER
Lee’s Palace in Toronto with Wavves and Japandroids.
WORST SHOW EVER
A laundromat in San Francisco.
OUR LEAST FAVORITE THING IN THE UNIVERSE
Bad Chinese food. Too much MSG makes us Cranky Hollows.
OUR BAND'S SPIRIT ANIMAL
WE'LL KNOW WE'VE MADE IT WHEN
We’re asking you the questions.
ON THE ROAD
The first time we played Canada, we had some issues getting across the border. They finally allowed us into the country to play the show at Lee’s Palace in Toronto, but the border agents said that if we didn’t leave the country within 24 hours, we’d never be allowed into Canada again.
ABOUT THE ART
"This is how I see our band, the band through my eyes. When we play music, Matt swirls around me with his guitar, and he is the wave I drew. When I play, I feel like a shooting star, with cosmic tails flying through the galaxy, so I am the star. Charlie is everything surrounding us, all the colors in between, with his layered synths and wall of sounds."—Sarah Negahdari
